5/12/09 - Olympia Arts Walk Show Details
Fun show at the Oly Arts Walk last month. Details are here. Thanks to the South Bay BBQ for having us, and to Lionel for setting things up.
4/22/09 - Olympia Arts Walk Show Friday!
We're playing the Olympia Spring Arts Walk this Friday. Extra credit if you knew that the 2008 version was the last gig we had. Needless to say, it's been a while and we have a lot of pent up rock to let out. Some new tunes to show off as well.
We're outside South Bay BBQ on 619 Legion Way (in Olympia).
The official Arts Walk goes from 5pm-10pm. We'll probably play from about 8-10. Matt made up a poster, but I don't have it yet. Will put it online soon, so check back for more details.
2/10/09 - Recording / Booking Shows
We're starting to record some demo versions of some new songs for a future CD. For now, we're down at the Jam Box, doing everything ourselves trying to figure out how we want to product the songs when we record them. We'll try different arrangements, tones, overdubs, background vocals, percussion, etc and see if we can really bring them alive.
To whet your appetite, here are some videos of some of the songs we'll be recording that we've performed live before.
Feelin' Alright (part 73) at The Central 12/16/07:
It goes into Majority Rules, which we've already recorded, afterwards.
The Leaving at High Dive 3/11/08
Other songs we're working on:
A Promise Too Late
Forever & Dismayed (never done live)
A brand new one in the Band of Gypsies vein
One other that may or may not ever get finished.
Anything else we come up with in the meantime.
As the heading above mentions, we're also looking to book some shows for spring and summer, so stay tuned!
